BBA

The B.B.A programme is designed to bridge the gap between conceptual learning and practical application to inculcate professional and managerial expertise. The department currently has around 280 students. The vision of the department is to create future managers, entrepreneurs and leaders.

The curriculum has been suitably  to meet the challenging needs of the Indian Business Society.

The department has achieved various milestones. The students are encouraged to take on roles of facilitators and coordinators in order to develop their management skills and get practical knowledge of their curriculum. Under the guidance of competent faculty, the students have enhanced their potentials in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Industrial visits are organized to give practical exposure and fundamental knowledge to the students about the functioning of factories, production process, production layout and shop floor management.

OBJECTIVES:

  •   To provide knowledge in the various areas of Business Administration.
  •  To develop the skills of analyzing, evaluating problems and taking decisions.
  •  To keep pace with dynamic industry changes and management practices and to enhance knowledge updates through Technical Workshops, Seminars, Guest Lectures and Internships.
  •   To ensure that the curriculum bridges the Institution and industries expectations.

INTRODUCTION:

      “One Day Entrepreneur program“ is been initiated by BBA DEPT in our College on 03.10.2019 presided by our Principal  Dr.T.Jayachandran, Vice Principal Ms.Arasakumari and  Anna poorani  and by all the HOD’S of our College and organizes by Mrs. D. Hemalatha on behalf of BBA Department.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM:

     To motivate the Students for entrepreneurial career and make him capable of perceiving and exploiting a successful opportunities for enterprises

EMERGING ENTREPRENEURS:

      Students emerged as an Entrepreneur and enthusiastically participated by keeping food stalls, coffee shops, fun gaming, fancy shops, Mahanadi shops, Ice cream shops, juice shops and small textile shops. Each and every shop was unique and innovative. And it looked like a street shopping where the consumers have the fun of bargaining and the owner has the pride of their product with the ownership of price fixing. The food stuffs were not expensive and there was an affordable product range. The one day entrepreneurs realized the different taste and preference of the people. And also about the value of money.  On the other side the consumers (Non participants) had a real fun in shopping in the stalls arranged by our Students
